This Privacy Policy explains how SignOS Digital Signage collects, uses, and stores information when the application is installed and used on LG webOS devices.

1. Purpose of the Application

SignOS Digital Signage is a digital signage player application. It is used to pair a screen with a signage management platform, retrieve approved media playlists, and play visual content on LG commercial displays.

2. Information We Process

The application may process the following technical information:

• Device identifier used for pairing and screen registration
• Screen number or player number assigned by the signage platform
• Network connection type such as wired or Wi-Fi
• Application status details required for heartbeat, sync, and diagnostics
• Cached playlist metadata and cached media files stored locally on the device

3. Information We Do Not Collect

SignOS Digital Signage is not designed to collect personal user content such as photos, messages, contacts, or sensitive end-user account data directly from the TV.

4. How Information Is Used

The processed technical information is used only to support application functions, including:

• Pairing the device with the SignOS signage platform
• Downloading and updating playlists and media content
• Supporting offline playback through local caching
• Monitoring device availability and playback health
• Diagnosing playback, connectivity, and synchronization issues

5. Local Storage on Device

The application stores playlist data, playback state, and media cache locally on the device to improve stability and offline continuity. This local data may remain on the device until it is replaced, cleared by the application, or removed during app uninstall.

6. Data Sharing

Technical data handled by the application is used only within the SignOS signage service environment and is not sold to third parties. Data may be processed by hosting or infrastructure providers strictly for service delivery and maintenance.

7. Security

Reasonable technical and operational measures are applied to protect application data, playlists, and device communication. However, no internet-based system can be guaranteed to be completely secure in all circumstances.
